The Aloha shirt is a mix of contrasting perspectives: the archetypal pattern of the aloha shirt (the Hawaiian shirt) made in vintage, stained and marked by time Japanese linings from second-hand garments (vintage Kimono or Haori) Some panels are reconstituted from smaller pieces, some from larger ones, hence some in-panel seams. Each mark on the garment is a proof of the previous life of the materials used. The Aloha shirt is a living archive and each mark is a part of their identity and individuality.

Each shirt is unique and there is no other like it in the entire world.

A shirt could feature from 1 to multiple lining materials, some natural (silk/cotton), some synthetic, nonetheless all special.

The buttons are made of clear plastic for discretion.
Each shirt comes with a companionship letter.
The aloha shirts come in two sizes: Small and Large

As the fabrics come from the unpicked lining of vintage Japanese items, the shirt features wear marks, discolourations or punctures as well as unpicking threads from previous life(s). These imperfections make the garment what it is, an upcycled item for which each mark counts.
